The next generation of CPT tests

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. The data collected has been excellent, the results are genuinely exciting, and there will be a full video discussing them soon.

More than anything, your participation has made the next stage of CPT possible. What began as a validation study has now opened the door to the next generation of CPT tests – and that is the next major step for the website.

What comes next

CPT is now moving into a new phase of assessment development, building on everything learned from real application and the recent validation study.

The aim is not merely to replace the existing tests, but to expand what CPT can assess and how it can be used.

This will include new state-based assessments for the first time in typology history – bringing changes in cognition across different states and situations directly into the assessment process. It's time to introduce the temporal dimension.

This is a big step forward for CPT, and it would not have been possible without everyone who contributed!
